  • Lowest Tax rates for Commercial and Residential
  • Fully funded schools
  • 50 Acre Park School Street
  • High School Library expansion for Accredidation
  • Weekly trash pickup
  • New DPW Facility
  • Public Library expansion project
  • Modular classrooms in all elementary schools
  • Agawam Small Business Center created at NO COST
    to taxpayers to attract businesses
  • Walnut Street Ext. - "Target Area" through Mass Office
    of Business Development to attract business


This is a list of future projects Richard
wants to accomplish as Mayor of Agawam:
  • Completion of Route 57 construction
  • Sidewalk and road improvements
  • Provide funding for programs to ensure all students
    reach proficiency by 2014 on the MCAS English and Math tests
  • Ensure that all schools meet accredidation requirements
  • Track and tennis court improvements for the community
    at the High School
  • Immediately enter talks with the 13 unions that have
    Collective Bargaining Agreements that will end soon
  • Go Green - work with the Energy Committee of City Council,
    Building Maintenance, Schools and Department Heads to
    reduce energy costs and usage throughout buildings and
    city vehicles including the recycling of waste
